Can't believe I've held on to this treasure for so long! Cedar and sandalwood on the nose. Silky with a bright and savory--almost vegetal--finish. Perfect with filet and steak-house style garlicky creamed spinach. These grapes were picked when I was still in high school! — 7 years ago
Acorn wine is hard to come by; a relatively small producer that produces wonderful field blends. — 8 years ago
Enjoyed this wine.

I liked that it's still a drier wine but it gives you that burst of sweetness when it hits the back of your pallet. LOTS of flavor!! Plus it's a good price! Win :) — 10 years ago
$17 very bold, slightly earthy but smooths strong fruit but not aweet — 10 years ago
Big fruit forward then a dusty dark fruit in the middle. Then a quick dusty finish. — a year ago

2015 is equally flavorful as earlier vintages. One of my favorite pilot noirs at a reasonable able price. — 7 years ago
Had it with some Alta Langa Carboncino goat cheese. Really really good pairing. The wine has licorice and cherry notes with a little spice from the Syrah. Very easy and enjoyable. — 9 years ago
Smooth, slightly dry finish — 10 years ago
2O Years, going strong, beautifully balanced fruit in a 1.5L. No rush to even drink it!!!!! — 4 years ago
Yummy as it opened up over four hours. Good particularly for a seven year old Napa Pinot. Spring Mt. — 5 years ago

Love this vineyard and really like this wine. Going to let the rest of my bottles rest for a few months before trying again. — 11 years ago

1997 vintage. Still dark as all get out. A quarter century has thinned out the massive body to medium body but the unified nose/flavors are full of chaparral/scrub, cassis, baking chocolate, gravelly dirt and blackberry reduction. Tasted approximately two hours after decanting. Miles to go before this one sleeps. In the zone now and likely so for another decade before any noticeable drop off in this old school Dunn experience. — a year ago
