Muted initially but warm strawberry boquet followed light body but lengthy saline finish impressed over days — 3 years ago
Another excellent vintage. Teinturier Alicante Bouchet Grape. Deep ruby color. Big aromas and flavors of red/black berry/cherry fruit. Hints of violets and brambly forrest Floor. Oak is well integrated. Nice powerful structure but the tannins are quite silky. Consistently great-Vintage after vintage. — 4 years ago

McCarthy & Schiering, $11
Bursting with tropical flavors, lots of pineapple and guava, almost reminds me of POG juice. Balanced with a crisp acidity and very easy to drink. Amazing for the price, I immediately went back and grabbed 2 more bottles — 2 years ago
Wonderfully smooth and dry. Well integrated tannins. Will go well with almost any food. — 5 years ago

Un Douro d’une douceur, souplesse et d’un super équilibre. À refaire assurément. — 7 months ago
I am not quite sure of the varietals in this blend. . However, the fruit and the acidity is in near perfect harmony. A really nice tasting blanco from Portugal. — 2 years ago
Ripe & fruit forward with dark cherry & blackberry and a whiff of Mediterranean herbs.
Rich yet very fresh & balanced on the palate with beautifully polished & juicy tannins and a perfect balance between the sweet fruit and sappy acidity.
This is a nice one - richer & heavier yet very drinkable at the same time.
Excellent match with grilled meat. — 4 years ago
I like this one! Nice and dry 👌 — 6 years ago
Young fruit bomb, with enough tannins and tartness to make it interesting. — 6 years ago
Listening to fado in Lisbon — 7 years ago
A good blend that has a nice hint of sweetness showing how pleasant and versatile Portuguese wine is.
Went nicely with handmade Gloucester Old Spot pork sausages and then a beef and mushroom ravioli the following evening.
Decanted for 2 hours before drinking with the sausages.
A steal at £7.99 from Majestic. — 7 years ago
