Yummy region for red wines and this one doesn't disappoint. A bit jammy with a bit of musk as well. — 8 years ago

Excellent red from Alentejano. Everybody loved it. — 3 years ago
I didn’t find it particularly interesting when I tried it with Coravin, but that’s because it’s a full bodied wine with high tannins that should be decanted. Today I’m tasting it with a stewed roast and it is delicious. Deep ruby color = #alicantebouschet #syrah and #touriganacional warm climate #alentejo medium+ aromas with ripe red cherries, ripe raspberry and red plums. Balsamic touches and on the palate it’s dry with medium acidity and medium+ ripe tannins. Medium+ finish. — 6 years ago
Uma delicinha. Frutas brancas, damasco, mel, em uma cor quase dourada.
Very refreshing. White fruit, apricot and honey. — 7 years ago
Tried at a wine expo in Lisbon. Kept chilled! Never seen a Syrah chilled before but there were a couple of folks doing this. Curious as to why! New oak, 100% Syrah, light on nose with cherry, plum, herbs, earthiness. Med + tannin, fairly full body, but the temperature threw me off. — 9 years ago

Ripe & fruit forward with dark cherry & blackberry and a whiff of Mediterranean herbs.
Rich yet very fresh & balanced on the palate with beautifully polished & juicy tannins and a perfect balance between the sweet fruit and sappy acidity.
This is a nice one - richer & heavier yet very drinkable at the same time.
Excellent match with grilled meat. — 5 years ago
I can’t believe how good this wine is! It’s really my type of wine, strong body and a bit of oak taste. Love it! I had reserve 2015 — 7 years ago
Seams heavy but leaves light - short after taste. Rich but not overwhelming. — 8 years ago
Although not a grape variety native to the Alentejo region of Portugal, this red had a full body with earthy tones that pairs well with red meats and fatty fish and seafood. — 9 years ago

Delicious. Had with caiçaola. The wine held up well and the dish really emphasized the spiciness. Full bodied. Lots of cherry in the nose. Lots of fruit, chocolate, tobacco. Would love to have again. — 2 years ago
