Taste is subtle but tannins start soft and then grow and grow… huge tannins, very astringent.
Really firm, punched in the face experience. Liked this a lot.

Fingers crossed after seeing the synthetic purple cork and remembering the wine board wars regarding B&H a few years back. Fortunately this bottle was excellent. Nice Cab profile with Cigar box nose. Drank well and held up over three days. — 11 years ago

We all need a little Lunatique in our lives. Forgot about those ⚛ synthetic purple corks on some of the older B&H though - the Rabbit was no match and had to pull out the heavy artillery to open. Slightly muted nose and a bit thin to start, but fleshed out into a decent Napa Syrah with air. — 8 years ago

Decanted for approximately 40 minutes. Blend of Syrah, Grenache, and a smidgen of Mourvèdre. The best vintage of this I think I’ve had. Generous with the red and black fruits, soft but firming tannins on the back end and posses a long finish. Great structure and balance. Surprised that I found a vintage of this age for a basic CDR at a grocery store and it is showing really well. Fantastic QPR. $14 @ H-E-B. — 6 years ago
