First thing I notice is the golden color. Very floral, white flowers, can smell the green stem of a flower. Smells very hot, with mineral/shell/slate. Also smells sweet, honey suckle, and butterscotch. Must be oaked at least slightly. Tastes hot, high acidity, citrus notes/grapefruit. Very juicy as well, in guava, pineapple, tropical fruits for sure, and green grapes. Also low mouth feel, aka thin, but it is refreshing. I've never tried either of these grapes and really enjoy it. Pretty tasty stuff.. this is my 3rd Jurancon dessert wine in 3 days and they're growing on me. Very peachy with some funk on the nose. Palate is cool because it's not too sweet, but has a nice balancing acidity at the end. Peach, pineapple rind, and a bit of nuttiness. That's fun. — 10 years ago

Dried apricots, passion fruit, pineapple, exotic fruits with honey. Despite all this it has a balanced, prickly, pineapple-esque acidity, vivid and refreshing with notes of apple skin and crisp minerality. Great dessert wine. — 10 years ago

Excellent Gascogne Ugni/Colombard blend. Super fresh, with lemon, tangerine, & floral accents. Great for a warm SoCal "fall" night. — 9 years ago

Great as always. A seductive perfume of white lily and jasmine flowers waft from the glass, and there is exquisite balance on the palate, with a bit of Viognier/Chenin “gras” paired with wet rocks, a refreshing tartness and almost phenolic spice on the finish. — 4 years ago
