On a different planet ... the nose is burgundian to the nth degree. Mature fruits yet still lifted by a bead of acidity. Earthy flavors are beginning to show up but the wine is still very primary. It is wines like these that make me remember why i fell in love with pinot. — 6 years ago
Pretty classic for the most part. Nose has equal parts apple fruit (with a hint of underripe peach), chicken broth, wet limestoney sea shells, and a light toasty note. Good flavor intensity in the mouth, bone dry, vague whiff of oak, bright minerality driving the flavors. I would ideally like the acids to be higher, but we fucked up the planet so much that’s asking too much. Still very good! — 4 years ago
Like a Sangiovese but with a ‘greener’ nose. Strong body, tannic finish, but not overwhelming. Earth tones — 5 years ago
Delicious and very well priced dry Riesling from one of my favorite places in the planet. — 6 years ago
What a great wine for the price. — 7 years ago
Just about our most favorite wine on the planet. Needs a healthy decant to show everything she’s got. After 4 hours the complexity and integration hits its stride. Tropical fruit (mostly pineapple) with zero tartness. 60 second finish. Much better balance than the 2012 regular Kongsgaard which is still too tight. — 8 years ago

Planet Grape Wine Review 93 points for this iconic New Zealand wine. — 9 years ago
Cherry, menthol aromas. Medium bodied with medium acidity, more cherry fruit with earthy herbal flavors on the palate. Silky, smooth finish, hint of blackberry. Prior bottles of this vintage seemed to leaner/ greener, but not this one. Upright 5 days, decanted off sediment. — 4 years ago
Tasted blind. Reddish amber tawny, translucent. Corky nose. Notes of light red fruit, cherry, herbs. Ethereal in it's delivery and still chewy. Very refined. The light cork taint makes it difficult to guess and the team's guesses are all over the planet (I'm in Bordeaux land). There is some good stuff inside this but cork taint comes on more with air... bummer. (M's 60th bday 3rd of 14) — 4 years ago
This is the most delicious ,tasty Rosé Champagne on this planet. Made by Selosse only 6000 bottles, made with 2 vintages. Chardonnay from Avize and Pinot Noir from Ambonnay. Nose is overwhelming and taste complex , this wine was disgorged 2 years ago and ready to sip. — 9 years ago

Pinotman /// Andreas
Pocked with a Coravin weeks ago. I thought the 12’ was risky. But when you ‘think you know Enderle & Moll you actually don’t’. Dark cherries, lots of lift and freshness, orange zest, touch resinous, crushed rocks, lime, hint kaffir lime, Japanese cypress. Needs more time but shows now much better. After being disturbed and retried. Definitely wait! 13%. So! So little color - elegant. E&M’s Pinot’s are the most unique and most challenging to taste on the planet. World Class. — 3 years ago
