Verve, weight and opulence. This just had an astounding amount of lift. Ocean air and quince aromatics, flavors of marcana almond, toast, lemon curd and baked apple. Long lingering finish. There's a lot going on here and all of it is good.

Just about our most favorite wine on the planet. Needs a healthy decant to show everything she’s got. After 4 hours the complexity and integration hits its stride. Tropical fruit (mostly pineapple) with zero tartness. 60 second finish. Much better balance than the 2012 regular Kongsgaard which is still too tight.

very well balanced and incredible texture, the finish is long and oak very present but balanced with the bright acid and fruit. One of my favorite Napa chardonnays
