Dark garnet to the edge with a bright nose of plum, black cherry, slight earth and oak. Very smooth, medium body, fruit forward yet still a touch dry with mild tannins and nice acidity. Maybe some strawberry in addition to plum and cherry flavors and a hint of spice. Really really a great Oregon Pinot! — 2 years ago
Had it with cheese and biscuits. Liked it. — 4 years ago
Paired with grub at Maggie’s, we enjoyed the energy and structure to this red meat dance partner. In a general way, this had that cherry coke silhouette. A great restaurant offering :) — 5 years ago
2014 vintage. Flowery notes. Crisp and balnaced. Has a personality of it's own. — 6 years ago
👍🏼👍🏼 worked well with an Asian noodle dish with lamb. Little spice & everything nice. — 6 years ago
This wine is medium dark in the glass. It has a nose which puts ripe fruit up front, with cherry, raspberry and red currant dominating. Some spice rack is present, but oaky notes are not overwhelming here. Earthiness comes on in a co-starring role, however. Red fruit is the leader on the palate, too. There is a bit more oak influence in the flavor profile, but not to a great degree. Earth and mineral notes support the fresh, fruity aspect of the wine. Tannins are medium firm and the wine is very tasty and drinkable. — 9 months ago

This Israeli Sauvignon Blanc is nicely balanced and enjoyable by itself. Easy drinking, tangy and a little bit spicy. Fresh and fruit forward.
I've had a few vintages of this Sauvignon Blanc before, and it is very consistent.
A great party wine, and good for the pool too.
Grapes are grown in the Golan Heights region. Kosher.

Very good merlot. Low acidity, medium tannins. Very oaky with a sweet vanilla, dark fruits, but with a dark chocolate finish, maybe with a pepper. Still: one of my favorite labels. — 3 years ago
Las Alturas' Spanish for 'the heights', a fitting name, this vineyard located on one of the highest grape-growing benches in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA. 4th gen Winemaker Joseph J. Wagner from a family with farming and winemaking roots in Napa since 1906. Met Joe several times. Deep Ruby (darkest Pinot I have come across, almost looks like a Cab). Rich berry flavors with cedar, spice and vanilla. Lingering ending with sweet oak notes. Consistent quality Nice! A Fav! — 4 years ago
First time trying a wine from Israel. This was pretty nice—lots of autolytic notes and it was nice to try one that was vintage dated and with some bottle age. — 4 years ago
