As always I'm not a fan of Amarone.. But was very nice to meet the Dal Forno family and understand better what is their goal and their project.. — 10 years ago

Tasting notes from the Judgement of Paris anniversary event at Cadillac Wines...
This is almost as light as their zin. Very Bordeaux like (which was their goal). At 10 years old, this wine could still go another 15+ no problem. Fruits should stay strong for a while. — 9 years ago
Music enthusiast, Maria Caterina Dei, moved back home to her grandfather's beautiful Vineyard in the 90's w goal of producing excellent elegant wines. Recommended by her friend & owner at Foxcroft Wine Co we were in for a treat

Gewurztraminer is a varietal that does particularly well in New Zealand in my tasting experience. Gorgeous nose of lychees with floral spicy notes. Voluptuous on the front and middle palates but finishes dry. The perfect wine with Asian food. In a word - delicious. Another brilliant Gewürztraminer is made at Gisborne in the North Island by Vinoptima whose goal it is to produce the worlds best Gewürztraminer to challenge the Grand Crus of Alsace. — 10 years ago
Pleasant, light, fruity sparkling wine (not sure it was made in Champagne). Refreshing on its own but cheap enough that we mixed it for mimosas. Def got a nice buzz. That was the goal of course. 😋 — 10 years ago
I made this wine with my husband Jeff Pisoni... And our goal is to make Sauvignon Blanc to age... So after two years in bottle the wine is holding his promise (citrusy, focus, great acidity and focus mineralogy all in)... Waiting to taste it in 10 years from now! — 10 years ago
Dominant Syrah with a touch of Viognier, this wine starts to get more elegant with rounder tannins, very ripe black fruits and wild berries, the oak is well integrated, a nice wine that will pair nicely with rich dishes :) Quinta do Monte d’Oiro (“Hill of Gold”) was founded by winemaker José Bento dos Santo in 1990. His goal was to develop top-quality wines in a European style while respecting his vineyard’s unique terroir — 10 years ago
Piously fume are usually more acidic than Sancerre . Goal to harvest fruit when they show some richness. Bright, lime, minerality, lentil, — 11 years ago

Goal of the day: be a good, thoughtful, giving partner to my husband who is 45yrs young today. Lots of kid duty, lots of cooking (which I love, twist my arm) and topping the day off with steaks, potatoes and leeks au gratin (leeks, I love you so), and a gorgeous David Abreu masterpiece. Love love love it. #beanetgiver — 9 years ago
