Loved that Whisky. Smooth, and creamy. Honey and vanilla with a hint of spice. — 7 years ago
Fantastic stuff - was better than I remembered it being last year! Rich sherry tones without being overpowering. Is it really from Glenmorangie though? — 7 years ago
This would be a nice wee dram with some aged Gouda after a good meal. Improves with a few drops of water. #Glenmorangie #Milsean #Whisky #OldLineScotchClub — 8 years ago

Straw color. Aromas of elegant smoke, toasted nuts, and marzipan. Wildflower honey, almonds, and cereal malts rush forward on the palate. Long finish. Very nice 10 year SM! — 4 years ago
Said to be an element of oldest and rarest stock (35 to 40 yrs) stock of the distillery - chocolate raisins orange nose, butter pudding Carmel, lime, cashew, spice favor with dried floral finished. So rich like having a toffee, so delicious! — 5 years ago
This is Bacalta. Put a serious dent into this late last night post New Years. Tasting much better after exposure to air. A really nice expression from Glenmorangie. — 6 years ago
A gift from Leif Hammarstrom from quite a few years ago, one of my favorite offerings from Glenmorangie. A stronger sherry character to the nose than I typically find for Glenmorangie, this is an interesting single malt. Doesn’t measure up to my ATF Glenfarclas...but it’s pretty damn good! — 7 years ago
So smooth , you can imagine sipping history 45 years ago. So rare if only time were so kind to me ;)

Surprisingly tasty. While not as smooth as Balvenie Doublewood or Glenmorangie Lasanta, it is quite enjoyable. — 8 years ago
Like a warm charcoal briquette on the palate. Unctuous. Glemorangie dried orange peel. — 8 years ago

Ardberg is a typical Islay Malt with the dials turned up a few notches. This is very peaty and smoky with seaweed notes. The flavours are bold with the Alcohol turned up slightly to 46%. I prefer these peaty Islay malts to the more refined Highland Malts like Glenmorangie. Both are in the LVMH Stable. — 4 years ago
