Parker was right great value wine. — 9 years ago
The pale golden straw color is appealing, while the nose certainly isn’t scaring anyone away. Clean earth notes define the apple, papaya and lime aromas beautifully. The palate shows off-dry pear, apple and Meyer lemon flavors on a bed of acidity. Finishing long, it’s the earth and citrus that stays around after the sip. The wine’s body makes it a lot more versatile that just “salads and sipping.” Winemaker Markus Niggli recommends you pair it with anything off the grill. — 10 years ago
I prefer my Pinot on the leaner and lighter side, but this is too delicious to snub. Deep, brambly, almost inky, with well integrated acid and alcohol (14.1), concentration and structure. These are things that 15 years ago I would not have said about a Fess Parker pinot noir. A serious, well made wine. — 11 years ago
A very good bottle of wine and even better for the price. Price v quality makes it one of the best values in my opinion. — 11 years ago
2013. Soft and splendid. Perfect after a Pinot. Recommend. — 12 years ago
Fabulous wine with the amazing tropical fruit that you would expect from Petit Manseng, finished almost dry. One of the best white wines ever made in the state of Virginia. — 13 years ago
Ethereal genius from the old stalwart — 13 years ago
Wonderful citrus profile and requisite verve. Another exceptional vintage for Jeff White!! At $25, what a great VA value! — 8 years ago

Probably the BEST CF I have ever had! Screams of French finesse and fruit. Had the sophistication of a blend with the pristine persona of a single varietal. It has a long ethereally sweet finish interwoven into structured tannins and ample acidity. This was like an M5 ready for any road. Just bought two more for the cellar :) — 9 years ago
Very nice. Pleasantly acidic and light. Great solo. — 10 years ago
Mom's favorite is now one of my favorites! — 11 years ago
This wine was at its peak at a warmer temperature than most. Really pretty tropical notes and hay. Under-ripe mango, kiwi, very direct nose and alcohol comes through (14.5) The palette is all about the malo and new oak, soft, buttery, nice acid, lingering finish. I can't help but believe that this wine lacks soul (or typicity?) but it's damn good. Maybe if this were the benchmark of Santa Barbara County wines? Regardless this is great with spicy Indian. Good job FP. — 11 years ago
