aromas of lemon, stone, fresh hay, a little urine, candied lemon, buttercup, faint dandelion
this was so smooth! i think temperature was perfect. flavors of melon, peach, sweetbread, little ripe pear, candied lemon, faint dried herbs (tarragon?), wonderful clean finish with tiny bit of cotton candy at end. terrific expression of chardonnay.

Som said they replaced the grapes in a region (Barolo) that makes a lot of money using the native to plant these, which says a lot about the winery. It’s delicious and smooth, would go with almost anything. Really love it. — 7 years ago
