Wow. Absolutely amazing chestnut liqueur from the Ardeche, in the southern Rhone. — 11 years ago
This riesling starts with aromas of white truffle and honeysuckle. On the pallet it is overflowing with green apple, Asian pear, water and pineapple flavors. At the end there enough minerality to make a great long finish — 9 years ago

Very fine wine. We enjoyed it. Recommend — 10 years ago
First time drinking a Sauvignon with so much age and oak. Very interesting wine, fermented in barrels from France's most historic oak tree (St. Etienne) which was 435 years old, from the forest of St. Palais. Very thankful to drink this wine with the legendary Camille Gauthier who cut the tree down in 1995, to make the oak barrels for aging. — 10 years ago

Vigorous nose of uber-crunchy cherry/grapey fruit and a dry gravel and granite earthiness. Dry and demanding in the mouth. Very stoney and lean right now but with quiet intensity of fruit. Long finish. This needs 6-12 months at least. — 9 years ago
