Rich, toasted caramel apple with incredible complexity. — 5 years ago
Solid Cornas with 10 years on it. A lite smokiness on the nose to start, and a hint of it lingers, enhancing the profile. Smooth, with a bit of chocolate, earth and mushroom on the palate. Clean, dark red but almost Nebbiolo-like in color. Enjoyed with the New Hampshire Chicken for 2, all three sauces (tarragon, morel, and Coq Au Vin), mushroom and spinach fricassee, and thick cut French fries at Le Coq Rico. — 7 years ago
I like it and my husband like it too.
Not a standout or especially good, but a dry white Rhone blend that is quaffable. — 4 years ago
Sweet dark fruits, leather, smoke with some roasted meat. — 5 years ago
Just a ridiculous value at <$25 from fass selections. Definitely agree that this is a long-lived wine - this is at its best 4+ hours into decanting, before that the tannins are a bit chewy. But a great example of a Morgon from one of my favorite Beaujolais vintages. Subtle aromatics with great mouthfeel and nice red fruit. Great pairing with a roast Provençal style chicken. Quite seamless after much air and very nice. — 5 years ago
Tasty, a little jammy, and un peu pétillant. — 8 years ago
It's sharp. Dark fruit (a plum for sure) and leather. Short oaky finish. — 5 years ago
Intense raspberry and cherry. Smooth tannins. Love this one. — 6 years ago
Ah là oui c’est très bon, tout en finesse mais pas fluide pour autant. — 7 years ago
16.5/20 (89/100) Вино с элегантным ароматом сливового и вишневого варенья с нотой тимьяна. Тельное с довольно высокой кислотностью и вяжущими танинами. Ягодное во вкусе. (12.04.17) #DVR2017 — 8 years ago
