Krishnamurti - Is it possible for the mind to empty itself totally of fear? Fear of any kind breeds illusion; it makes the mind dull, shallow. Where there is fear there is obviously no freedom, and without freedom there is no love at all. — 11 years ago
Damn that's good.
Looking forward to tasting how this develops over the next couple years. — 6 years ago

2010 Freedom Run #Meritage #Merlot #CabFranc #CabSauv #NiagaraEscarpment #NYWine. Lively, black cherry, cassis & wild berry intertwined with spicy vanilla, tobacco and a whiff of earth. Perhaps a little reminiscent of right bank #Bordeaux from a warm vintage. #wine #sommelier #sommlife — 9 years ago

Very smooth; not much tannin; fruity, deep and well balanced; perfect with roasted Freedom Chicken from Sawkill farm — 8 years ago
You know what the French say about how to drink wine at dinner? "Start with the best bottle". So we started with a '13 Jordan and then had this terrific '11 and should have reversed the order. Full on the first level and then increasingly complex and nuanced with blackberry and leather/tobacco tones with a really long finish. Not a common vintage or vintner so a good find at a Dallas steakhouse full of over priced and well known wines. — 9 years ago

Really enjoyed this medium plus acid Pinot noir with mossy under tones and a bit of spice box kinda thing. It is young but enjoyable after about 30 mins. I should buy more. — 5 years ago
