A very average tasting, inexpensive Spanish Monastrell wine. — 6 years ago
Long earthy finish, some berries, well blended. My Family and I enjoyed this wine with spaghetti and meatballs! — 7 years ago
A great, traditionally-styled Barolo. Long and complete. Dried cherry, tar, and roses all day. Finishes very dry with great length. @Lyle Fass — 7 years ago

Maybe a bit past prime. Not much depth. Still fun to drink. — 4 years ago
Delicious. Smooth — 5 years ago
Great cab franc from Uco, if you are into that style. Fruity (no oak whatsoever), but certainly not sweet or syrupy. Fairly acidic, and with a distinct mineral taste, like chalk or graphite. Lighter bodied than a cab sauvignon or a malbec (lighter colors, etc.) But still a powerful wine. — 6 years ago
The boys are making a short rib ragu with Barolo, and I'm helping! 🇮🇹🍷 — 7 years ago
Well and truly alive. Knee bucklingly good. — 7 years ago
Effervescent, with a mineral flavor. Tart with just a small top note of leather. — 9 months ago
For the price it was a really good Barbara — 4 years ago
Excellent Barbera. Could hold longer but drinking nicely now. — 4 years ago
For the price this wine is insane! Seriously my new favorite wine at this price point! — 6 years ago
My WOTN! A "complete" Barolo, kinda out of a school book, that had it all: noble tannins, freshness and a first evolution into maturity. Huge layers of red berries, dried flowers, pipe tobacco, cedar and a bit of menthol. A touch fresher and more intense in the aromatics and tannins than the 1999 Rupestris. — 6 years ago
