This is the vermentino not the bianco. Licorice root, peaches, beeswax, lavender. Huge jasmine and oleander. Peppery palate. Very nice indeed! — 4 years ago

We got busy last night. Quaffed some great wines. @Greg Ballington and India brought some great SA examples. Just a superb evening with good food and lots of laughter.
The Tua Rita was riveting, from what I can remember 🥺 — 6 years ago

Interesting red blend that features the Baga (85%) grape. Blended with Touriga National (15%). Very dark color but lighter in body than I would have expected. Bright and jammy red fruit aromas and flavors with hints of prunes and dark chocolate. Solid acidity and very long finish. Moderate finish and tannins. In a very good place right now. Thanks for sharing and insisting we open this one, Ron B! — 4 years ago

Dark bramble fruit on the nose. Blackberry, fig and earth on the palate. Good balance of mouthwatering acids transitioning to tobacco and leather lingering tannins on the finish. More sophisticated than sweet. — 5 years ago
Wow. This is really special. Complex with fruit and earth and cedar and leather and chocolate. Kept evolving in the glass. The tannins were super smooth and silky. Already drinkable but with the acidity and tannins to keep on going for some time. — 6 years ago

Solid. Soft. Medium. — 7 years ago
Layered black/blue fruits, leather, black pepper spice, violets, vanilla, and loads of minerals. Dense up front with some tannin that give way to bright acid. A great wine for the money and an easy transition wine for Syrah, S. Rhône, Zin, or Bordeaux drinkers. — 9 years ago

WTSO. Blueberry, blackberry, currant on nose and palate with smooth tannins. Hint of chocolate. Nice acidity. Delicious. Good mouthful and length. 91 but for price point much higher. — 4 years ago
