This is a nice and light Cabernet Franc from Virginia. Showing red and blue fruits with earth, honeysuckle, chocolates, oak, vegetables and spices.

Light ruby in color with medium intensity.

Very pretty nose, sweet and flowery.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.

Good right out of the bottle., light and airy. Would be nice to revisit it in a couple of years.

A good food wine that I paired with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses olive crackers.

12% alcohol by volume.

Bloody good. It had to be as it cost the price of a small duchy.
I have a whole bottle of this greatness with me. Not a good idea.
Taste is sort of dry, not sweet and not bitter...all in equal mix. Taste of lots of stuff. It's been through different cask apparently. Bourbon, Madeira, Port...

Drank this way too early but still enjoyable. Would have liked to have the addition of another Bordeaux grape but the Petite Verdot balanced out the Sauvignon nicely. Would recommend aging for another 5 to 10 years. — 9 months ago
