I think this is organic or unoaked . It was a bit unusual for a cab. Not sure what critics see in this wine to give a 96 rating.. — 6 years ago

For the first time since I could remember I actually had a wine transport me! Pintia wine is magical!! I felt like I was sitting by a fire somewhere in Colorado. Amazing! This was a 2010 vintage and it was magnificent. It had a dark crimson red color and strong earthy notes. Gamey and meaty on the nose, almost as if someone had brought a huge plate of steak to the table. Dark fruits such as plums and cherries on the palate. Medium acids and tannins as if they didn't even exist, that's how balanced and structured this wine is. Hints of vanilla from the oak and a long finish! Can't say enough about this wine! Glad I'm closing out my summer with this hearty and powerful wine! — 9 years ago
Perfect summer wine! — 5 years ago
First candle lit dinner with Remi. JB and Ali got her down while Ali artfully cut and ate her steak with one hand. Also, the grill caught on fire, but JB saved the steaks at the perfect level of char. The spinach was delicious, and the dirt that Ali left on it from the farmers market will help tremendously with digestion. — 7 years ago
A throwaway bottle with an iffy cork. Saved from the fire and hey! This is solid! Little orange at the rim but hanging in there. Nice richness and depth. Am I going to get it all down in time?! — 8 years ago
My go to Pinot. Never disappoints — 9 years ago
Fire out of the gate so I had high hopes. Now showing pretty poorly on day 2. There's hints of something there but too wound up. — 10 years ago
A bold cab, very dry with deep flavors. A 2018 bottle tastes as if it’s been aged for a decade. You will taste and smell pungent aromas of cherry and raspberry. Drink this one by the fire and share with a friend. One of the best quality wines you will find for being widely available — 5 years ago
Rust colored and red. Nose is berry liquor and cherry. Flavors are juicy and deep. Berry-cherry cobbler and licorices. Blood and fire. Dry and also jammy. Well cooked jams. A straight Cal-Italia Sang. I like the balance and grip. This is grear Italian style red! — 5 years ago
2013 vintage. Light, crisp. Great mouthfeel. Terrific with food. Or solo! — 7 years ago
Lovely notes of plum with a hint of mint, wine that deserves to be sipped slowly while sitting by a roaring fire in winter — 7 years ago
Dark, bold berry flavour. Great on its own on a cold night by a fire. — 8 years ago
