Stylistically not my fav. However, it's good quality and hits the mark it is shooting at. I.E. The Prisoner.

Dark dark color. The nose is very Orin Swift's Palermo like. Loads of preserved prunes, black cherry jam, liquorice, wet stones and a hint of oregano. Definitely some sweet component on the palate, prune jam like, can feel the alcohol there but still holding on. 37% Syrah, 31% Petite Syrah, 27% Zinfandel, and rest Tannat and Grenache. Bold and juicy. But feel like it lacks of some structure. 15.2% alc. 2015 vintage

Well this seems familiar. I like it about just as much as that other "P" word. I usually love Daou wines but #cmonman

Light initially, with a peppery, dark finish. Very nice.
