Well balanced. Even with the superb 2013 vintage, needs time away. — 9 years ago
54%merlot, 34%cab, 12%cab Sauvignon long finish, fruity, smoooooth, very fine tannins, chocolate, dark cherry, spice, cigar tobacco, savory! — 10 years ago
A shame it sold out so fast-- glad I held on to some for myself. Still so young. — 10 years ago
Wow. A bottle that could change a lot of minds about Sherry. Beautiful nutty aromas along with almost everything else you would expect from Finos all the way through Pedro Ximénez. Sweet yet dry, creamy yet saline, smokey and caramel-y. I'm now a fan. — 11 years ago

Good wine but not cheap at $34. Still, I would buy again. — 9 years ago

This, along with the Trefethen Dragon's Tooth, were the winners of the night for me. Dark fruits but in no way overbearing. Lengthy and enjoyable finish. — 9 years ago

2010 - 38% Aglianico, 34% Syrah, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon. Delicious with deep dish sausage pizza. Big fruit, lots of oak spice influence, somewhat sweet but a very nicely structured blend. — 10 years ago

2013. Delightfully on the lighter side. Great tonight with grilled bone-in pork chops. Cherry pastry on the nose, bright cherry and a spicy mid palate with a lingering finish. Mouth-watering acids and only a whisper of tannin. I am, however, missing the kitty cat on the label. Balanced, well made. 13% abv. $34. Drink now; can keep 3-5 years. — 9 years ago
