Cherries, bright acid, tiny bit of tanning. Outstanding. — 8 years ago
Fresh blackberries, blueberries, dried oregano, dried thyme, graphite. Snapping rounded acidity/minimal smooth velvet tannin presence, juicy-silky texture, light-medium bodied, fruity-smoky finish. Highly aromatic, mineral driven, softer, more approachable interpretation of Dolcetto. Perfect weekday wine. — 8 years ago
Initial notes of earthy blue cheese that morphed into dark cherry as it opened up. Drank alongside balada and grilled vegetables. — 9 months ago
Digging it a lot. May be the summer wine of 2020 — 5 years ago

Opens up as a classic Nebbiolo. Tar, licorice, leather and redcurrants on the nose. Tar and salty licorice on the palate. The tannins aren't too sharp if accompanied with meat, but could probably do with another 5 years. — 8 years ago
From magnum. Lift bodied with a ton of herbs and spice. The fruit was definitely secondary. Great with the pasta and steak. — a year ago
Taste of fruits with a hint of nuts. Wonderful drinking. — 3 years ago
Taste the age. Nectar, acetate, smooth, warm spring flowers, muscat. — 5 years ago
Easy drinking red. Low tannins and light to medium bodied — 6 years ago
Punchy acid, drawn out tannins. Pomegranate and fresh cranberry, with lingering stoney, graphite notes. — 6 years ago
At Willos Italian Night on Friday. No notes. More a party than a tasting. These Primitivos appeal to many Australian palates because of their size and ripeness. — 8 years ago
