Part of my chateauneuf du pape trial from epiphany wines. 2007 cuvée des deux soeurs. 90 Grenache 10 Syrah. Drinks beautifully now and will age over the next 10 years. — 7 years ago
Wonderful blend with a smooth finish — 7 years ago
This is the sort of epiphany about Madeira or Port I've been waiting to have. Served as part of a savory course at Clove Club in London.
Any sweet element of this wine has relaxed to the background and gorgeous acid accompanies complex burnt citrus and smoky, nutty stone fruit. 45 second finish. — 6 years ago
Part of my chateauneuf du pape trial from epiphany wines. 2009 la domaine la barroche signature. Will age well. Needs to breathe a lot but great with dark chocolate and strong vegetarian foods or meats. — 7 years ago
Holy wow! This was unbelievable. There are amazing honeysuckle and honeyed white fruit aromas that are intoxicatingly. The concentration and layers of flavors are terrific. The palate explodes out of the glass while maintaining a medium body and enough acid to stay balanced with the RS (7%). This was somewhat of an epiphany wine for me and I can't believe i didn't take sweet wines more seriously before. — 7 years ago

Epiphany wine. L'avant Comptoir — 7 years ago
Garnet red. Smokey, potent blackberry bouquet. Velvety mouthfeel, leathery tannins. Warm, round, blackberry and barbecued plums, gentle pepper. Lengthy, mouthwatering finish. Superb. Merry Christmas! — 7 years ago
Perfectly balanced - especially surprising for this varietal. Wish I had bought more :( — 8 years ago

Epiphany wine! I've had younger Gantenbein and not been impressed. I assume this is what excellent and aged 1er and G.C. burgundy is like. Silky and spicy with hints of tobacco without a hint of tannin. — 4 years ago
