Wow….
A sommeliers tip @ Entrevins Valencia…
This is an extraordinary, elegant and filigreed Garnacha, almost Rayas-Like in Its personality and flair…
Very feminine, perfumed, tiny red forestfruit, high-toned notes of fresh flowers like rose-petals, jasmin, verbena, amused, lots of detail and persistence. Indeed, there’s great aromatic precision and a remarkable texture that is impressive for its depth of flavors and finesse. Not your average sweet Grenache fruit-bomb. No…, this truly is something special for the happy few to cherish and savour. So sassy and classy… — 4 years ago
Sensational. So fortunate to come across this bottle while roaming the “drink here” shelves. — 8 months ago
Big and full bodied. Juicy plums. Long finish with tannins coming in at end. Almost a bit of a floral/herbal quality on the nose. Super good for the price. — 2 years ago

Juan Gil Jiménez first built his winery in 1916 in Jumilla, and passed it down to his future generations. From 100% Certified Organic Monastrell (or Mourvèdre in France), in chalky, stony soils, aromas of dark berry fruits and woody spice. Aged 12 months in French oak, palate shows blackberry and plum with smoky wood flavors and notes of cacao and cinnamon spice. Soft ripe tannins, medium+ ending with a light toasty earthy character. Great value! Very nice! — 9 months ago
Densely packed, delivering a dark fruit profile with mineral tones. Aeration brought some more flesh and spicecake aromas. Firm tannins. VA right at the limit. — 3 years ago
