Had the 2008, it was so good! Ripe tannins, emerald color, very good length, still so much dark fruit. — 9 years ago
Intense aroma, almost stings my nose! Aromas and flavors of charcoal, prune, lead, carbon paper, smoke, vanilla, and leather. Acid is med + still for this vintage, which is 10 years old right now. Tannins are suave yet the texture still has a nice hold. Pairing well with sheep’s milk cheese and wild hare paté! — 7 years ago
either I actually found a Pinot Grigio I like or I’m drunk :D — 7 years ago
This wine has finally settled down a bit and is in a very comfortable zone right now, showing secondaries and tertiairies like cigars, cedar, soft black fruit and gamey notes on the nose. On the palate there is also a lot of pepper, pencil shavings and an interesting touch of jugged hare. Such a lovely drink. — 8 years ago
Dancing Hare and ribeye work very well... — 9 years ago
Enjoyed this awesome Rioja wine with Alma and friends at Emerald Lake Lodge in BC, Canada. Served with duck breast and lamb chops and it was a perfect match. Would also go great with a nice steak.
If you can find it give it a try I am confident you will also love it. — 9 years ago

I like this one sweet but not too sweet! — 6 years ago
This is up there in my top 5 this year - this is shooting at me 0 to 60 in a Porsche GTO or 3 seconds but finishing like the tortoise against the hare - a winner and in slow motion - but nice and smooth and long - wait now I am confused - am I drinking wine or getting ready for sex / oh wait - never mind - different story - but this is badass is a glass as my friend @Martin G Rivard would say

Tasted October 2013
A dry version of Zibibbo (Sicilian name for Muscat of Alexandria) reflected by bewitching siren depicted on the label :)
Aromatic, fresh and vibrant one, grown in Pantelleria on volcanic soils rich in minerals.
Fermented in stainless steel then aged in tanks for 2 months, plus 3 months more in bottles.
Brilliant straw yellow with emerald tints.
Ample and rich bouquet of typical flowery scent of orange and linden blossom, nattaran, peach, touch of sage and rosemary.
Crisp, well-balanced light-plus bodied palate. Refreshing acidity, scented by white grapefruit, melon, nectarine, ripe pear with minerality becomes evident at finish.
Was fine with catfish with ravioli and asparagus. — 9 years ago
Unique showing from the Emerald State! Let this wine open up for at least 30 minutes to reveal subtle leather, gushy fruit, cigar box, vanilla, really like what it showed without dropping a bomb of tannins. Would like to get more and set aside. — 9 years ago
