Rich and luscious, and was ready to go as soon as I pulled the cork. A hedonistic combination of cassis, currant, black cherry, milk chocolate, and cedar. Some secondary smoked herbs and loam inject just enough savoriness to call this balanced. Hits all the right pleasure points and will certainly be crowd-pleasing.

When that day comes I shall futterwacken... vigorously.—Mad Hatter

Consistent with my previous notes. The football was bad, but good wine and better friends is all I need.

Black fruit, cedar, dill and dark chocolate. This ripe vintage is on the plateau — drink over the next couple of years.

Purchased this a couple years ago off Last Bottle and forgot about until tonight. Pleasantly surprised. Black fruit and currants on nose. Smooth mouthfeel. Palate reveals black berries, leather, and baking spice. Very slight heat on the finish. Overall, enjoyable well balanced wine. (Benny approves of this note).

Not much fruit. Very dark bodied. Average at best factoring in price point.
