Crisp Chardonnay on the lean side with only 10% new oak. Long citrusy finish with refreshing acidity and a more mineral edge. — 5 years ago
Such a beautiful expression of red and blue fruits. Soft and supple texture. This wine comes across so pure and chaste; somewhat remarkable when you consider what’s typical on the market these days. — 6 years ago
Alto Piemonte meets Loire. Crispy and herby and fruity. — 7 years ago
2016 Vintage. 15.5% Alcohol. We were lucky to get into the Top release party as well this trip so was able to taste and meet Elena. Since Gail didn’t go, opened Sunday night. Just a lovely blend of 45% Grenache, 41% Syrah, 11% Mourvèdre, and 3% Roussanne. Using Roussanne instead of Viognier makes this wine unique. Bravo Elena and Stanley. — 5 years ago
The fruit. The tannins. The acid. The balance. CANNOT drink enough TOP. Chocolate and blueberries on the nose. Deeper berries and plums and straight up velvet tannins. The perfect tannins. Hit you when you sip. Elena Martinez and Stanley Barrios are the genius. — 6 years ago
