Jahrgang 2008! Eine Cuvée aus Blaufränkisch, Zweigel und Merlot aus Gols vom Altmeister "John" Nittnaus. Lange, lange hat es gedauert, aber genau jetzt zeigt dieser Wein was in ihm steckt. Schon beim ersten Mal ins Glas riechen merkt man, dieser Wein ist etwas ganz besonderes. Das, was dann im Mund passiert solltet Ihr unbedingt selbst erleben. Eine perfekte Balance aus Frucht(Kirche/Zwetschgen/Brombeeren), beeindruckender Länge und perfekt eingebundenen Tanninen. Welch ein Meisterwerk! Ich bin überwältigt. Chapeau! A brilliant Gutedel. Nose is smoke, mineral, leather and spice. Peach and melon. After air Huge spice and almost potpourri. So pure. So clean. Wonderfully expressive. Palate is super fresh and clean. Dazzling freshness and so so so drinkable. Wow. Amazing cut and clarity. Great fruit which is unusual for Gutedel. Peaches and apricots and a hint of bitter green fruits. So so well made. A masterpiece dare I say. Terrific acidity and so pure. Sappy. This is so great. — 6 years ago

Look at that Fucking color. Yes that is what Pinot is supposed to look like. Gorgeous. Unreal nose. Sour cherries, dry leaves, pinpoint precision. Takes 45 minutes to an hour before the symphony begins. But the unfurling and aromatic nuances are just gorgeous. The fruit is almost non existent on the nose the first 15-30 minutes then BAM! Palate is just amazing. Red Riesling on another level. This showing reminds me of Möbitz. It’s so ethereal and lacey. Stunning. Amazing delicate and refined red cherry fruit. More mid to early season cherries and gloriously juicy and perfectly ripe. This is so fine. Velvety and delicate Lacey tannins weave in and out of the finish. Stunning almost silly freshness.
