Rather liked this one. Drake it at the bar at the Wine Steward and brought a bottle home. — 7 years ago
This is a bottle that Vanessa was given by a former student who was apparently trying to clear out his cellar. Bottled on October 4, 2011, this is the best incarnation of Noel de Calabaza that I’ve ever had. Incredible balance, great secondary aromas, and a finish that lasts far longer than younger versions of this beer. Just goes to show how awesome JPs can become if you hide them away for a few years. — 8 years ago
50% Sangiovese, 50% Schioppettino. 100% Delicious — 8 years ago
Rustic and fast-forward, while dry and tasy. You can't do much better for $6. Thanks Lidl! — 6 years ago

The San Pellegrino of wines? I love me some San Pelle so that’s complimentary. Massive, tart mineral streak right down the center. Tasty on a hot summer day with Thai inspired salad. — 7 years ago
Tropical jam, elderflower, a couple of bubbles. Makes one dance and flail and trip and slip and laugh. This is Cinderella wine - you feel like an elegant princess even though you showed up in a pumpkin and ran around with only one shoe on and you talk to mice. — 8 years ago
Lovely dark and fruity. Great with steak and pork. I love the mixture of the negromaro grape and primitivo grape. — 8 years ago
Had with a chicken stir fry, zucchini, bell peppers and onions. Great pairing. — 9 years ago
