Although young you can tell that this is a top scoring wine. Very voluptuous texture with a crazy long finish. Well worth the expensive price tag. — 4 years ago
STWC. Sweet Black fruit and cassis aroma. Strong Ribena and blackcurrant ice cream on tip of tongue very bold tannins. Not subtle but I love this. Wonder if it ages? — 4 years ago

Medium gold green colour . Green and grassy on the nose , blackcurrant leaf, after a while some lemon confit notes and beeswax. On the palate nice round , lemon , white peach , greengage notes , medium bodied , you wouldn’t guess it had only 11% alcohol . Medium high balanced acidity , slightly toasty note on the decent length finish . This is drinking well now , though absolutely no rush , now and over the next 10 years ? — 4 months ago
I thought this would be nice, but this is really nice. Once the tannins mellow even further it will get even better. This is your cassis and dark berries mouthful goodness. Really enjoyable and a huge bargain at what I paid; over delivers on QPR — 3 years ago

No oak. What the fuck?! Waxy, oaky (if possible), almost nutty. Sublime. — 6 years ago
Great wine. Just enough fruit left but seems a touch past its prime. — 5 months ago
Oak, lime like herb in aroma. Rich, citrus, white flowers. Citrus, comfortable acidity. Each factor in the taste is showing the feature clearly. 12.12.19 - 2017. New Seasons. $16.99. Nice just on its own. — 4 years ago
What a stunning wine- bright medium lemon, crisp acidity and a glorious nose of apple, lemon, flint, smoke and just a hint of herbs. Beautiful balance and a long finish - this is a marvelously elegant triumph of wine making. Fabulous with food or on its own. Dazzling — 5 years ago

No formal notes. Quite rich , grassy and waxy but still lots of lime and lemon character . Quite taught , mostly lean lime and lemon , beeswax character fruit on the palate . Long and detailed on the finish with a toasty touch . Great intensity . Needs time , still quite primary , I would expect this will improve over the next 10-15 years and last well a further 10 @ Brokenwood Winery , Hunter Valley — 3 months ago
