Very tasty. Surprisingly good with Dover sole. — 6 years ago
Dark purple color. Sweet dark berries and plums on the nose. Harsher on the palate with a stark finish. Nicely paired w Dover sole w lime, soy and butter sauce. — 7 years ago
Preserved lemon creeps up through the white White Cliffs of Dover, where the rich white minerality seeps in and accompanies your two dozen oysters with gusto. If this smells like oyster shell because I told you it tastes like oyster shells? You’re right. You don’t? Ok we’re done. If you don’t like it? Great, you’ll save a whole bunch of money. Best drunk at a minimum of 10 years aged so this one is splendid. — 8 years ago
Oak, vanilla and apples- actually a bit sweet and syrupy along with a rather high alcohol content (14.9%). This wine was an excellent accompaniment to Dover sole and the best Mexican street corn we’ve ever tasted. — 5 years ago
Nice white wine to go with my Dover sole. Not too heavy, nice fresh stone fruit flavours. — 8 years ago
I asked to pair with their Dover - could not have combined better. Wonderful bottle that left me wanting more of both! — 9 years ago
Beautiful wine. Just starting to amber in the glass. Very nice white fruit and flowers on the nose. Finish lacks just a bit of acid which keeps this from being even better. But still a delicious wine, especially paired alongside some simple Dover sole meunière and an asparagus torte for our 5 year anniversary. — 5 years ago
Pear skin and green apple on the nose. Mouthfeel is rounded with hints of vanilla and bright but balanced acid notes. Long luscious linger begging for a butter poached lobster tail or Dover sole. — 8 years ago
Syrupy lemon flavor, paired well with Dover Sole. — 8 years ago
