Lovely example of primitivo. Fruity & rich — 8 years ago
Ripe black cherries dripping juice, a bit of new leather purse. One that’s going to last. Slightly Puckery tannins. Oak planks, smooth and warm with the sun. If the Southern weather weren’t record breaking mid-October, I could wear one of my lonesome sweaters out on the porch as the sky pinks. I’m content, dog by my side- just delicious (the wine). Crab chowder would be tasty- along with some Kelsey Lu cello. — 9 years ago

Always a pleasure when I drink this bottle. Complex, rich, just a touch of oak.

Exotic and potent, with a label that would make Gianni Versace proud. Opens with a peculiar and foreign attitude, but offers a bouquet of wildflowers encased in red licorice, and wears newly stitched racing jacket. Certainly polished, but there’s no mistaking where this is from... the red dirt bursts from the glass. — 8 years ago
Incredible for the price. Vanilla, blackberries, cherries — 9 years ago
Still youthful and powerful, but perfectly seamless in the middle, and gently tannic on the finish. Not fruity, but super savory and mineral inflected — 9 years ago
Powerful petrol, slate, and white peach and baked apple aromas with hints of cinnamon, cloves that yield to luxurious tastes of apple cider, white cranberries, and guava nectar. Also smells like the checkout gal at Total Wine who wore too much perfume and transferred her Versace onto the outside of my bottle.
