Third tasting of 2017 over a year and a half. First observation: this wine improves every time! For the rest, we are on a, jammy, peppery, moka, with fine floral notes. Wine from Morocco by an artisan winemaker from the Rhône, in the style of St-Jo or Croze over-vitamin.

Incredibly flavorful grenache rolle and roussane. Complex and punching way above its price. About 15€ . My current fav white wine. — a year ago
Still has a lot of life
Internet info,
Located in the Entre-deux-Mers region (in Saint-Loubès), the Château Reignac was built in the 16th century by Seigneur Baude de Peyron. Since 1990, it has been owned by Yves and Stéphanie Vatelot who elevated it, within a few years, to being one of the best domaines in Bordeaux with the help of the consultant oenologist Michel Rolland. The vineyard extends over 80ha in one piece; it is planted mostly with Merlot, but also Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and, over 2 ha, Sauvignon and Sémillon. In a few years this domaine could impose its style and show the full potential of its appellation. It is now recognised as one of the jewels of the region, able to rival the renowned crus of Bordeaux.
About the cuvée
This grand vin is two-thirds Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Harvested from vines around 40 years old, it is aged in barrels for up to 19 months. — 4 years ago

This is a very powerful and layered all grenache CdP. 100+ year vines from the domaines best plots. The palate is packed with dark ripe berries, violets, dried flowers, char, pastille and more. Expressive. Could use more time in the bottle but already impressive. — 4 years ago

This wine has a very pleasant taste, both before and during diner. Nice smoothly aftertaste without bitterness. Comparable with bigger Italians and Spanish bros, 14% alcohol! Certainly recomendable! — 10 years ago

Château Paradis Casseuil — Bordeaux Blanc Réserve 2024
Bordeaux, France 🇫🇷
Overview
A blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Sémillon from Château Paradis Casseuil, part of Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite. Sauvignon Blanc drives the freshness and aromatics while Sémillon adds subtle texture and balance, creating a polished and very approachable expression of white Bordeaux.
Aromas & Flavors
Lemon peel, fresh citrus, green apple, white flowers, and subtle herbal notes. Bright aromatics keep the profile lively and immediately inviting.
Mouthfeel
Light to medium-bodied, crisp, and beautifully balanced, with uplifting acidity providing plenty of freshness. Clean and energetic through the finish without becoming overly sharp.
Food Pairings
Oysters, shrimp, grilled white fish, seafood salads, goat cheese, or lighter Mediterranean dishes. Equally enjoyable as a casual aperitif.
Verdict
A terrific introduction to white Bordeaux. It doesn’t try to be cerebral or overly complex; instead, it delivers freshness, balance, and regional character with remarkable approachability.

🍷 Personal Pick
I love this for exactly what it is: affordable, aromatic, balanced, and genuinely representative of white Bordeaux. The fresh lemon-peel character and uplifting acidity make it incredibly easy to enjoy, yet there is enough polish to impress just about any palate. A very smart casual Bordeaux Blanc. — a day ago
