Pop-n-pour, without some air time there wasn’t much depth. — 7 years ago
Decanted for 30 min, drunk from Zalto Burgundy, approachable but still more years to come. Nose fresh raspberries, some cherries, taste wonderfull backbone and great aftertaste. Love it, last bottle of 2009. — 7 years ago
Juicy and spicy. Bought at Enoteca for¥5,400.

Stunning soft tannins elegant fruit long finish opened up more and more over the past hour. Notes of wild rose earthy fruit and light bergamot into a subtle tobacco — 2 years ago
Une autre belle bouteille de ce beau premier cru, un fruit énergique, éclatant, épicé, terreux légèrement et avec des tannins ayant de la poigne mais aussi une belle fraîcheur et longueur fort appréciable. 92-93
Another great bottle if this nice “premier”, fresh, energetic and gorgeous fruit, spicy, slightly earthy and with a medium plus bodied palate and tannins, good length as well. — 4 years ago
The quality outclasses most village level and even approaches premier cru level in its integrity and unity of characters. — 6 years ago
Really bold off the hop, then leans into black cherry and aged cheese. Slightly purple tongue. Consistent throughout the bottle - really great. — a year ago
This was excellent! Earthy and complex. A tiny hint of Brett. — 2 years ago
Du fruit rouge à revendre qui se retrouve en bouche aussi, une acidité appuyée avec des tannins qui ont une texture de bouche très approchable, c’est frais, généreux, sérieux et délicieux. 91-92
Gorgeous red fruit on the nose and palate, generous wine with an acidity that is high but brings freshness and such a nice silky texture on the slightly grippy tannins, simply beautiful. — 3 years ago
Dare I say a perfect Pommard village. This is exactly what Pommard should taste like. In perfect balance. — 5 years ago
Tart cherry notes mix with nice floral elements. The palate is nice but lacks some complexity. Finishes with a brambly characteristic - maybe some whole cluster here? — 7 years ago
Good not as good as it should be but solid. — 8 years ago
Wow FANTASTIC combination of PSG. — 8 years ago

The 2020 Chambertin Grand Cru is clean and precise on the nose, with raspberry and wild strawberry, crushed stone and discreet sous-bois scents. This, again, unfolds wonderfully in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle but insistent grip. It is more saline than Launay Horiot's Chambertin, with fine structure and a hint of spice towards the finish that has just a touch of piquancy. Bravo - this is a Chambertin from the top drawer. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, October 2024)
