Creamy and broad, tight at first, needs a couple hours to open and fully express its magic. — 8 years ago
Stunning. Great Fruit. Nice minerality. Rich yet balanced toast. Beautiful Acid. Outstanding wine from a great grower champagne. I will buy it anytime I find it! — 9 years ago
Paired nicely with smoked quail egg that was marinated with wine.

Great nose reminiscent of clos st jacques but not enough there on middle — 11 years ago
Très cerise griotte, fin et agréable — 12 years ago
No sediment when this half bottle poured. Bright acidity, subtle red fruits when handled gently, with patience. — 5 years ago
Very solid Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Steep Hill Importer-I like their portfolio as seems to emphasize true to type varietals. Nothing flashy, just good ol fashioned terroir. — 5 years ago
Beautiful wine - not overly heavy, but packed a punch — 7 years ago

All fruit, no spice, and a little sweet. Nice in spite of it, but not what you expect with CDP. — 11 years ago
Wow exceptionally delicious. Very light . Would get a 10 but it's too light for that — 11 years ago

Big and rich in a semi-oxidative style. Tremendous mousse with great cut — 10 years ago
Wine 2k, fresh, acidic with depth. More winey than champagney in a good way. 2000 vintage. — 11 years ago

Barberry Garden
Oh, this bottle has waited for the right moment. Initially, I planned to put it on some wine tasting but figured I must take it on our little sparkling party (where everyone brings their own bottle to share). Turned out to be a good idea.
Expressive and mineral bouquet. Lemon, wet stones, cream, Jerez. Complex, multilayered. Mineral profile with a long and flavourful aftertaste. Wet chalk in the finish. Beautiful stuff. There is a lot to discuss.
