Very solid Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Steep Hill Importer-I like their portfolio as seems to emphasize true to type varietals. Nothing flashy, just good ol fashioned terroir. — 3 years ago
Pick this wine up from Costco at a very decent price and I was very satisfied. I drank this over three days and I want to say the second day was the best. It was definitely fruit-forward, full-bodied, and some pepper at the end. Not big on wines with pepper but this one did not disappoint and I would definitely buy again. — 4 years ago
Nice full bodied jura chard. Nothing to complain about but not terribly memorable either. Not sure worth the price point. — 5 months ago
Another great btl from the master of SJ. This had palate staining concentration , balanced with beautiful aromatics of black cherry, berry fruit, sweet & savory spice, graphite, licorice, meat, iron & violets. — 7 months ago
2018. Delicious white burgundy. — 4 years ago
Tastes like funky strawberry jam. Good acid. A lot of malolactic fermentation. — 4 years ago

Some citrus, a lot of minerality and some hint off sweetness. — 7 months ago
Super young. Once the primary & quite expressive fruit blows off, this is actually quite nice. Still on the fruitier side, but there’s a savoury, earthy whiff to it. Airy cherries, baking spice, good depth.
On the palate this is still youthful LY chunky but there’s good balance, good depth. This is surprisingly high in alc (14.5%!!) and it’s noticeable.
Very curious how this will evolve.

Best expression of Syrah I’ve had in some time. 2021 was a hell of a Rhône year — 5 months ago
