Brilliant dark ruby. Spice with a strong leather and cured meat note. Decent body, and bright acidity but no better than a good bourgogne. Meh! — 4 years ago
A well balanced Pinot. Nice structure- as often with Corton. — 4 years ago
2012 vintage. This estate is owned by Jean Guyon, the biggest owner of vineyards in the Médoc appellation. Mainly Merlot (70%), with equal parts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. A rather difficult vintage, but in general merlot fared better than Cabernets. Attractive nose, almost New World in style, with amarena cherries and vanilla. Round and ripe, but with good acidity. Gentle tannins and good length. Obvious oak influence but not drying. Drinking perfectly now and well worth the 18 euro price tag for a mature Bordeaux. — 5 years ago

Amazing quality of 2003, not too bright as usual for this vintage, elegant, still on its way to peak. Beautiful black currant, blackberry, needles, with silky mouth and strong structure, tannins are soft and yet powerful, great wine — 3 years ago
Expressive bouquet: flowers, strawberry, chocolate, fig, animal farm, mushrooms, wet wool and vanilla. Well balanced, good acidity, evolving taste. Flavours of milk chocolate with wild strawberry and sweet tobacco in the finish. Quaffable wine with persistent aftertaste. Great wine.

Quite simple bramble and savoury notes. Good weight and fine acid/tannin structure but fairly benign flavour profile and short. Agree with last note. — 3 years ago
