The aromatics on this are powerful and complex. Florals, dark berries and savory components. This is generous and rewarding in youth. A beautiful example of savory/briny character accented by rich red fruit. Structured and textured. This shows great complexity, but also inviting freshness. Absolutely great. Intense ripe red cherry from a warm vintage... enjoyable now. Mineral backbone, with decent grip and heft. A little air opens this up. SommSelect Spring 2018, solid QPR. — 6 years ago

The 2022 Chablis Village has a taut, focused, mineral-driven bouquet that opens nicely in the glass. The palate is well-balanced with a fine bead of acidity, quite waxy in texture with a pithy, peppery lingering finish. Enjoy over the next 4-6 years. (Neal Martin, Vinous, September 2023)
