This bottle wasn’t singing it’s apparently normal tune of wonderment. A good Champagne but it lacked some complexity normally seen — 4 years ago
loaded with strawberry- fresh and ripe. currant. boysenberry. with savory undertones presumably from Cinsault and Mourvèdre. full bodied rosé, dry, fruity and savory — 6 years ago
On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening to enjoy Andris Nelsons conducting the BSO in their first complete performance of Wagner's "Das Rheingold" at this venue, very exciting! We enjoyed "Die Walküre" last summer, so even though they're playing out of sequence, we're blessed to hear it none the less.
Tonight we have a Crémant de Bourgogne from Savigny-les-Beaune. Apparently 'Oeil de perdrix' translates as 'eye of the partridge' because of the light rose color of the wine. I get that, but sounds like marketing magic to me. Citrus, raspberry and mineral palate, toast and yeast are well balanced, tasty. — 7 years ago
Great rosè, refreshing on a warm summer evening — 8 years ago
Strong for a Burgundy. Hot climate Pinot. Not as delicate as a Chambolle — a year ago
@Delectable Wine this is Champs-Perdrix (spelling error). In any case, it is funky and yummy Marsannay. — 3 years ago
A solid proof why you should age your Bourgogne wines. A “simple” Village Lieu-dit (above La Tâch) is finding itself in a wonderful stage in life near 10 years past harvest. Just let it dust off its shoulder and catch your attention as it opens up with a toffee like red fruit character, dried roses, sous bois, truffle, spice and rocks before slowly walking out with a graceful posture. — 4 years ago

Spot-on, classic, perfectly delineated Saint Joseph. This is the elegant and pretty side of Syrah. Flowing waves of violets and black pepper lift effortlessly out of the glass with bright red fruits. Mid palate is silk and nearly weightless with fine tannins. Low alcohol and neutral oak profile allow for a very pure expression. Hints of game on the finish with a lingering minerality and a fresh, spicy peppercorn character that would be lovely with a variety of meats and herbs. Beautiful wine that I look forward to revisiting over the next 2-3 years. — 6 years ago
Well balanced, crisp acidity, nice fruit flavors. Love the finish. Refreshing. — 7 years ago

Nice CDP. Cherry, tobacco, sage, pepper. Lots of green plum … like right off the tree. Balanced even with 16% alcohol. — 8 months ago
