Jeunes vignes de Ruchottes Chambertin déclassées en Gevrey 1er cru... j’avais peur compte tenu de 2011 mais... wow. Il y a de la profondeur dans ce vin... et la magie des soeurs Mugneret ! Un fruit moins pur que dans d’autres cuvées, on est dans les fruits rouges, la fraise et cerise essentiellement mais un peu de bleuet aussi et ce parfum floral qu’on retrouve dans leur vin. I had this by the glass a few weeks ago and was disappointed but giving a second try out of the bottle has changed my opinion quite a bit. We decanted it for 30 minutes, mostly for aesthetic quality (why the heck not?) so maybe that had a bit to do with the overall taste. Such a truly beautiful translucent ruby colour - like stained glass. A bit o' tannin I was surprised by. Could definitely offer a LOT for diverse food pairings (I know, you're welcome for that insight about Pinot noir....) Young vines really showing in a fun way. Classic P-Morissette does Burgundian style. Cranberry, red purple flowers, black tea leaves, NICE potting soil (not the stuff you can get at dollarama). Would recommend to a friend. Oh also I drank this out of a brandy glass because #myparents . — 8 years ago

Amazing nose !! Old red wine, cedar wood, cassis jam. Now, Banyuls ! Toasted nuts, dark cacao, dried plum and dried grappe in alcohol, black cherry.
After 30 minutes, ground, dried apricot, orange jam appears.
Splendid !

Assemblage de single malt de la distillerie Yamazaky de 25 ans et de "jeunes talents"
Intégralement vieilli en fût de Sherry.
Splendide, le bouquet est infini, c'est un moment un vin rouge âgé et mature sur des notes de Cèdre, de cassis confituré, puis un Banyuls, grillés, cacao amer, noix, le pruno séché, raisin sec à l'eau de vie, la griotte.
Sur 30 minutes, le whisky évolue sur des notes de terre, d'orange confite, d'abricot sec.
Un moment rare !!
Le violon est accordé et en bouche, c'est un grand moment.
Notes torréfié et grillé, de raisin sec, de figue.
Cerise noire, c'est gras. Matière bien présente, c'est parfaitement équilibré. Légèrement pimenté.
Finale très longue sur les fruits secs, salin, légèrement iodé.
Superbe !
Entre 1700 et 2800 euros.

Apres avoir lu quelques commentaires faisant état d’oxydation sur le 97. J’ai donc décidé d’ouvrir la mienne. Très beau nez à l’ouverture, cela m’encourage mais rien n’est gagné! En bouche, c’est très bien, aucun signe d’oxydation ou de vieillissement prématuré. Tabac, eucalyptus, cèdre, sous-bois, champignons, vraiment sur le tertiaire. Aucune amertume, aucune sucrosité dérangeante des jeunes millésimes, les tannins sont fondus. J’ai bien aimé. La finale était un peu courte par contre. Si il vous en reste je les ouvrirais sans plus attendre. — 5 years ago
