Very “Burgundian.” Tart red fruit, spice and a little earthy funkiness. Delicious. — 7 years ago

A grape I had never taster prior. Earthy like a Pinot noir, but heavier. Really tasty! — 10 years ago

Côtes du Forez, seek it out if you love Gamay very Good q/p🗽 — 5 years ago
Really delicious. First time we’ve had a wine and gone, this is different in a way that it’s fruity but savory. It had a reduced fruit taste that just was so easy to drink. — 5 years ago
La madone delights. Light on its feet but with a from structure, delicious with cod stewed in farm fresh tomatoes, chili oil, and frizzled shallots and garlic. Slammin — 7 years ago

Nice and dark, the Fleurie Beaujolais looks like the serious wine that it is. Aromas of violet's and strawberries are joined by pepper and cardamom. The palate offers a zesty acidity and a fruity flavor profile, with enough minerality to justify that dark color. The wine is perfect for meat dishes, tomato sauces or grilled vegetables. — 10 years ago

This is a wonderful find! It is smooth . It is well balanced, And perfect for seafood. I drank and used it to cook swordfish and it was excellent. I usually drink Chardonnay with fish but this was a game changer ! Not Oaky and buttery. But still fruit forward enough to be terrific!

A strong and fruity wine. — 9 years ago
2012 vintage. Leafy stemmy stalky notes. Earthy fresh berry flavours with beetroot nuances. Soft tannins and a thoroughly delicious Gamay. Tasted again on 15 October 2016 with similar notes but also confectionery aromas and white pepper on nose and palate. Refreshing. — 10 years ago

Wilder, juicier, more feral than the 2017 Chamonard Madone Fleurie tried side by side. Less development in the bottle, fresher, cleaner, juicier. Really quite nice, pure tart length. Maybe a 9.3 if this holds up in the fridge. — 4 years ago
