Vending Tardive. One can make a case that in Alsace, where it is considered a Grand Cru-eligible grape, muscat gets more respect than in any other wine region. In this wine you can certainly taste why it deserves grand Cru status - perfect balance, great depth, subtle flavors and a level of sweetness that supports rather than overwhelms the fruit. Lovely rosé petal and honey notes With a refined Thai or Indian curry this will be exception, and with seared foie Gras? Off the chart. It deserves another couple of years in bottle but it will be hard to wait that long — 9 years ago
Exquisite and unforgettable. Paired with gazpacho, prawns and foie gras. The salty paired with this off dry white is incredible. Savoriness balanced with honeysuckle and apricot. Sweetness with edge. — 5 years ago
2009 at Fascino. Perfect with oysters , foie gras, dinner of steak and chingali ravioli and zeppoles for desserts. Couldn’t be better. — 7 years ago
Would be amazing with foie gras poele — 8 years ago
Loved this! Great paring with foie gras at Eleven Madison Park. Had 16 year old cognac in it too — 8 years ago
Wow- this bottle is a lot fresher than the one we drank a year ago. The Robert Fleury is a barrel fermented blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 35% Pinot Blanc and 20% Chardonnay. Earthy dark fruit, Krug like barrel influence and savor are balanced by 2004 snap. With foie gras, pour le dimanche! — 9 years ago
Marsanne, gras, magnifique pour moi !!
Très proche de l'Hermitage — 10 years ago
Alain Gras Bravo! 2008 still wonderful! — 5 years ago
Maestro of St Péray! Complexity, length, energy and precision, things most don’t associate w/ Marsanne and Roussane. Ripe and baked yellow orchard fruits, orange, almond cream, marzipan, coconut, sea salt, crushed rock, acacia, jasmine. Plenty of gras but there’s so much zip from front to back, salty mineral goodness all the way. — 7 years ago
Good Carmenere, pairs nicely with our meal. — 8 years ago
This late harvest wine was tasted with home made foie gras during Xmas diner. Was very much appreciated by all frinkers, light sugar, delicate tastes of fruits. — 8 years ago
— 9 years ago

2018 - hung out with foie gras dish and squab dish at Jean Georges. Berries. Herbs. A chill red for me. Mostly Grenache grapes which I apparently like. — 5 years ago
