Nose had some funk with leather, mineral and a hint of red liquorice. Evolved nicely with fruit coming out after an hour or so. Blackberry, blueberry were present after the earthy start. — 8 years ago

@David A Lentine @Ron R very nice but I was expecting more. We all thought the 2010 cores and the Clarendon hill beat this one. Very good, not insanely great. The wine was very light on the palate. Didn't seem to have the depth, broadness or character of the other 2.drink it now if you have it. Definitely won't get any better.

Oaky oaky oak. Dill and toast. Muted sour cherry. Would have liked to see a bit more fruit or earth, not JUST wood. — 11 years ago
Our favorite Sauvignon blanc. Light with loads of citrus. Great with shrimp or veg with dip. Between $12 and $16 a bottle. — 12 years ago
This wine amazed me, I’ve had it before and it’s never shown this well, maybe just hitting it’s stride? Beautiful perfumed floral nose ( never thought I would say that about a Dunn), exquisite balance, the fruit is slightly sweet, the tannins are fully integrated and refined, with just the right amount of acid in the finish. I would never guess mountain fruit or let alone Dunn if tasted blind. Can’t wait to try it again in a couple of years. — 7 years ago

Nice Albariño. Citrus and florals present. Great summer supper. Purchased at Keif & Co in NOLA — 8 years ago
Such a beautifully expressive & high toned Langhe, if only other Langhe's could give back so much at a young age. — 9 years ago

Light and not too sweet or too dry. — 10 years ago
This is a wine that can be cellared for years to come. We opened it a little early but still a real treat. Straight garnet in color, burnt Carmel and sugar, black tea , a light eucalyptus perhaps and black tar on the nose.
There is luxardo cherry and cassis or kirsch element to the flavor. Great wine. — 12 years ago
The nose alluring and complex but restrained; the medium body palate layered, broad, and textured; the tannins velvety yet gripping; and the finish long and persistent. Very classy and elegant. Paid $80 for this 08 vintage. It’s hard for me to imagine how much better the 09 or 10 vintage (cost significantly more) can be. — 7 years ago
When we open from 1987, we expect everything. One thinks of its conservation in cellar, the risk that it is passed or incredible, with the tannins having evolved in this vial ... The cork pulled-out, in perfect state and one knows in advance that one hit the jackpot and that it will be phenomenal. A coppery robe, a complex nose with aromas of black and floral fruits. In the mouth, an explosion of flavors that take the length and makes us go back in time. A very large estate for an incredible wine, to fall 😍🍷 — 8 years ago
Label was very very new looking. Questionable as to real or not. Cork is correct. Wine us correct. On the way out but just won't leave. Brown to rust color. Better as it went on. Light fruit. Amazingly long Finish. Wow. — 9 years ago
Drinking tonight 12/30/15. 05a great year. — 10 years ago
Deep reddish/purple color which has me on guard relative to Pinot. Worried that darker than lighter raspberry red has had Mega Red or other manipulation but this Pinot just has concentrated character. Varietal rose petal and cherry notes in aromas. You can see the broad influence from the 3 appellations that comprise the wine. Weighty on the palate without being too over bearing for the varietal. Great accompaniment to the saffron broth salmon this evening. — 10 years ago
"Odedi"
This Petite Sirah from Lodi is always enjoyable. Big and bold, spicy and tangy.
Good by itself or with food. Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows some tannins.
Showing black fruits, chocolates, coffee, wood, vanilla, licorice, mocha, caramel and peppercorn.
Full bodied with a nice finish. Might be a little sweet for some.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
