Pretty lean and dark fruit forward. Not as much earth and oak as I would like on a grand cru. — 6 years ago

Time to drink was a year ago. Good but drink now. — 8 years ago
Golden thick-legged well-balanced chard with characteristic nose and palate, both including apple, pear, nectarine, and lemon with hints of butter and cream on a medium finish. Good way to get familiar with the varietal. Probably would go well with meaty white fish or mild tasting veg in a sauce of light butter or olive oil. — 3 years ago
Breathing a little easier today- in every sense. — 7 years ago
aromas of plastic, minerality, coconut, ripe apricot, white flowers...flavor here are all stone and tart stone fruit... lots of minerality and a little vegetation- but clean and elegant over all. — 7 years ago
2012. Starting to go somewhere. These wines require a cellar and patience. — 8 years ago
Brambly black fruit - fresh, crushed, juicy - with a big pinch of pepper. Add to this a bit of violets and some crushed rock - this is not a shy wine.
Poised & balanced on the palate with juicy acidity, fine tannins and a sense of place. Quite elegant, too.
Shows Cinsault stand-alone can make a really nice wine. — 4 years ago
I couldn’t find much about Mathias besides that he was born in 1990. His mom A-F Gros makes amazing wines so does his father F Parent. Mathias’s wine on the Bourgogne level seems full-bodied with chewy texture on the palate as approachable as any young Pommard wine. I’m really floored with the design of the label and quality of the wine and I see a great future in this producer. Cork still says A-F Gros but probably not for much longer. — 7 years ago
