Opened a Magnum, soft cork — split in half but recovered nicely with no residue falling into the bottle. Decanted for 30min prior to pouring into glass. Beautiful color, light nose and mouth feel initially. Later noticed fine grain tannins on the palate, with no sediment whatsoever , No Brown at the edge of glass or carafe. Light fruit developed over the course of the hour we enjoyed it. Three of us enjoyed this excellent wine with a NY Strip and Filet as main course and a chocolate decadent cake for dessert. This wine still has room to grow. — 9 years ago
Lovely, lifted nose that initially led with bergamot and petit grain before unveiling some dark cherry, almond paste, fennel & mint. Ropey and present tannin profile but never overt and work well with the wine. Length is good. Worth a look at with some years under the belt — 9 years ago

45 year old Muscat vines. Skin contact. Unfiltered. Fresh, bright, high acid. Tropical and floral notes, jasmine, star fruit, lychee and a little lemon juice. Killer pairing with salmon sashimi. — 10 years ago
This bubbly has a deep, golden color with fine, delicate bubbles. It has a clean, medium intensity bouquet of caramel and honey, with secondary and tertiary aromas of honeysuckle and apricot. Flavors of caramel and vanilla on the palate with a great balance of acidity, alcohol and body. This ready to drink now as an aperitif. — 10 years ago
Katoukichibee Shouten Brewery Born 38 Special Junmai Daiginjo sake. Rice grain milled away to 50%, no brewer's alcohol added. Floral on the nose with jasmine and white linen. Delicate and ethereal with an unexpected spicy finish. Served with a teriyaki of Wagyu beef tenderloin, pumpkin, asparagus and onigiri rice. Followed by a dessert of poached white summer peach, Japan pearls, Suntory dry gin espuma, exotic sorbet, and petit fours. — 11 years ago
Full, rich, and pure fruited, approaching maturity but drinking really nice. Plum Cassis, smoke, mineral, mushrooms with good acid and fine grain tannins. Great off vintage Bordeaux! — 11 years ago
Wonderfully sweet - but not overly so - bubbly. Perfect before dinner drink or just for fun — 13 years ago
Very interesting nose of sweet hay/grain/honey? and a subtle Riesling like petroleum note.
Lots of intriguing fruit on the palate that comes across slightly sweet. Reminiscent of banana or other sweet tropical fruit balanced by moderate acidity.
Real head scratcher for me. Nice to have a wine that's $14 that makes you think and is pretty tasty to boot. — 7 years ago
Light golden yellow in color. Floral, fig and plum notes in nose. Orange blossom notes in mouth. Dry to off dry, slight fine grain skin astringency, bitter finish with slightly tart, bitter aftertaste. A pretty wine to sip, a spring garden in a glass. Great as an aperitif, but enough acidity for food. Another TJ bargain, not perfect but great value — 9 years ago

In English and French
- A grappe juice ! Why ? Because grappe juice is the base of all wine !
So lets have a look to the "genèse".
Petit Grain Des Abeilles 2015 Domaine Des Homs (Minervois). Muscat. Organic and unfiltered.
That's gold !
Im falling in a thousand flowers field.
Jasmin, Aloe Vera, litchi, honey and pollen.
Fantastic.
Bewitched !
Flowers, White flowers, sugar and acidity are perfectly balanced. Smooth.
Finish : Jasmin flower. Hmmmmmm.
This is clearly the best white grappe juice than i ever drinking. Balanced, pleasant and long for 4.4 €.
Je me délecte !
De toute évidence c'est le meilleur jus de raisin blanc que j'ai bu jusqu'à ce jour.
Son équilibre, sa complexité et sa fraîcheur en fin un jus de chaque instant.
4.4 € est définitivement un très bon prix.

Nice sparkling representation of the Clairette varietal, hailing from the Rhone valley. Crisp with nice acidity, this is the perfect aperitif to start off an evening of indulgences. — 11 years ago

Great stuff, Napa Cabernet with a well knit structure of grace and power. Dark red core with red edges this was ready to go from the pull of the cork. Graphite, currants and black cherry, a dollop of oak. A long fleshy finish with medium grain silky and ripe tannins. — 13 years ago

Gorgeous wine. Could drink gallons of this. Draws you in with a crazy nose of coconut ice cream, cardamom, petit grain, organe rind, dried red fruits, liquorice, pistachio, tea leaves, herbs and dark cherry. Just medium bodied in the palate yet bold in its flavour intensity all the while not lacking in tannin that helps keep things in check. — 10 years ago
Really solid wine. Complex notes, black pepper, fruit leather, with blue fruit on the palate. Great tannin grain, it's textured and layered with no pronounced alc. the winemaker was a bit standoffish when I met him but I won't hold that against him. — 10 years ago
