The only Wagner wine that deserves the price tag, in my opinion. Beautifully soft entry and finish, very right-bank-ish on the nose but with very high extraction (it is a Wagner product afterall). Dense dark cherry and a mouthfeel that hits all the right spots. Very nice actually, I just wish it was a bit cheaper. — 11 years ago

Meaty wine. Caramel and tobacco on the nose (and a slight chocolate note). Also a little violet/floral background. Dark fruit (especially blueberry and blackberry), spice, floral notes on the palate.
