My first Stellenbosch, I believe. Bravo. Ripe fruit. Medium+ body. Good structure. New world-ish. I guess I've been missing out. — 10 years ago
Label buy, but smooth and drinkable. Would buy again! — 11 years ago
Nice evolution. The first 30 minutes was peaking heavy for me on the senses. Didn't drop off but evolved into something very northern rhone-ish, fresh and stoney and deep juice. Went through many phases over 6 hours that were so pleasant and surprising. Les perrieres is right 👍🏼 — 11 years ago
Beautiful traditional Rotie--beguiling bouquet of smoke, medicinal herbs, wild blackberries, leather and game. Closed down hard after some air though. Needs five-ish years. — 11 years ago
Pretty serious 'beer'. 17.3% so it's kind of like a wine. — 12 years ago

such suspence, such mouthfeel, such alcohol, such potential.

Good solid blend, little fruity with a nice balanced semi-dry finish — 11 years ago
Chewy and textural, oily & orange-ish. Golden delicious — 11 years ago
The only Wagner wine that deserves the price tag, in my opinion. Beautifully soft entry and finish, very right-bank-ish on the nose but with very high extraction (it is a Wagner product afterall). Dense dark cherry and a mouthfeel that hits all the right spots. Very nice actually, I just wish it was a bit cheaper. — 11 years ago
This is a delicious red fortified with brandy. The alcohol content is 19.5%!!! — 13 years ago

Meaty wine. Caramel and tobacco on the nose (and a slight chocolate note). Also a little violet/floral background. Dark fruit (especially blueberry and blackberry), spice, floral notes on the palate. Good tannin and acidity. Great balance. Youthful still, but a well made wine. Long-ish finish as well. — 10 years ago
tasted hints of smoke, wood, cherry. dry wine, but I love its dryness. well worth the money. should cost more, honestly. — 12 years ago
A lighter Bordeaux-ish from Provence!! — 13 years ago
