Refreshing, tart, slightly fruity — 9 years ago
Brought by CR. Words escape me. Still a baby but the texture of this wine was like the finest cashmere sweater you've ever touched wrapped around your tongue. Supple, precise, elegance, finesse and a backbone that promises great things in due time. Ethereal nose. Thank you Christophe! — 9 years ago
Yummy, had with soup while designing an escape room. — 10 years ago
Old Calabria is number one on my personal travel books top list, wrote by that British genius who was Norman Douglas. Now this is the optimum wine to pair with such a reading: rarity, daring, intensity... only to mention few of the features we'got stated in here. Name of the wine's: 'A Vita - La Vite, The Vine in Calabrian dialect in harmony with The Life/La Vita as well - it focuses from the start the insane complexity and discloses the fleeing of the whole subject in itself! Salute e lunga Vita, thou good Old Cirò! — 10 years ago
Teeny bubbles! Nutty, not yeasty. This may be redundant but drink it quickly once it hits your glass! Your bubbles escape quickly. — 11 years ago
Goldenrod color, aroma of apricot, mango, mineral and a little yeasty bread note (think apricot Danish). Juicy mouth feel with sparkling acidity and well balanced minerality. — 9 years ago

One of my favorite Willamette Valley producers, daring to create bold, deep in character Pinot Noire of world class quality. Every one of them is w treat, no matter if the label is silver or gold, the wines are worthy!!! — 10 years ago

I know is a cheapie wine from Fresh & Easy, but I love it! — 11 years ago
An everything-but-the-kitchen-sink amalgam primarily composed of vanilla, rhubarb, new carpet, and eucalyptus. Highly individualistic, moderately disjointed, and somewhat daring for a Shiraz. Like parachuting over Sydney in a business suit with socks the color of the American flag. Vino di Vino. — 9 years ago
Enso, made in PDX, has released their "Chateauneuf du Stark" based on the quartet of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Counoise (each at 25%) from Columbia Valley. Fragrant, phat, flirting with smoke & slate but so juicy...call me muy loco but it reminds me of papaya crossed with tobacco. Whatever, this li'l Stark ode to Chateauneuf isn't too big for its britches, it's daring & delightful! — 10 years ago
Its is a welcome escape from a frivolous lawsuit... — 11 years ago
A deep/dark ruby color in glass, a cornucopia of red//dark aromas escape easily from the glass...while it appears a bit of flamboyant initially after the first splash...stiff tannins remind you of its youthfulness and for those willing to wait another 7-10 years you'll be nicely rewarded! The finish was bit shorter than I would have liked, but still a solid enough performer overall to squirrel away for the future. — 12 years ago
