Subtle fruits and residual sugars. Nice. — 3 years ago
VJB has great #sonomavalley reds. This #cabernetsauvignon starts out tight with oaky vanilla, upon opening up there’s blackberry preserves, leather. Great concentration on the palate, enough acidity for balance and velvety tannins. — 4 years ago

Had another bottle, Wow! Laura Catena, 4th gen winemaker, grew up in Argentine-Italian winemaking family in Mendoza. Wines, named after her children - Luca, Dante & Nicola - background of the label is the McDermott coat of arms of her American husband, Daniel McDermott. Single-vineyard wine from land belonging to the Laborde family. Deep red with big ripe fruits & smoky oak. Palate plum & jammy blackberry, spice with nice earthy character. Tannins are a bit rustic, lingering ending with toasty oak & spice. — 5 years ago
Cherry and Cake aromas, chocolate cherry, very fruity. Nice tart acidity... balanced and dry. Oak on it as well. Standard every day wine. — 6 years ago

First document to mention Terrabianca dated 1085: two centuries before Dante. Located 35 miles from Florence, in the heart of Chianti. A blend of 70% Sangiovese & 30% Cab Sauv, aged for 12 months in French & American oak. Dark Ruby with aromas of berry fruit and light toasty oak. On the palate cherry and ripe plum, a bit of spice and oak with a savory edge. Well balanced soft tannins, complex yet elegant. Lingering ending with fresh fruit and a little earthy mineral. A Fav! — 6 years ago
