Ripe, dark fruit on the nose. Tart cherry a d ripe fruits. Nicely balanced. — 6 years ago
The most striking thing about this wine was the very creamy, buttery brioche flavors, along with lemon and pear. Apparently achieved through natural malolactic fermentation, along with extended lees contact. No oak (yay!). Well balanced with nice crisp acidity. Age maybe accounts for the lovely gold hints in the color? All around delish! — 7 years ago

Not quite an orange. Sauv blanc like it should be. SoOo very exciting. Picked late, juice stays on the lees for months n months. Very rich n slight tannins but w/ racy acidity! Mouthful of limes n stones n juicy peaches! — 11 years ago
Tasted blind. Medium gold, heavy. Great leesy lemon nose. Some honey and white stone too. Very tight, with Chablis-like intensity/acidity. Seems young. I go with 02 Raveneau MdT as a guess. Surprised to see an 89 in such great condition. I had/loved the 86 of this. Would love to find me some of this 89... — 6 years ago
We had the 2009 Vintage on 9/7-8/18. The strawberry fruit is subtle. There was cardomom, mushroom and a nice spice. Truly Burgundian. Medium bodied. No tannin; smooth and ready to drink. — 8 years ago
So much richness and texture yet so drinkable. Phenolic and engaging. Subtleties abound, from white and orchard blossoms, citrus and stone fruits, beeswax, olive, radish, white pepper, tea leaves, stones. Approachable, elegant, yet cerebral enough to maintain conversation. — 8 years ago

Suave, profound and delicious !!
Bravo to the Gonnet's and the great La Crau vineyard — 10 years ago
Old reliable. Always one of my favorite Rhones. Heavyish-medium body, heavy fruit, medium tannin, great food complement, mouthy. Even drinks well alone & is friendly enough not to overpower cheese or light hors d'oeuvre. — 11 years ago
Tart, slight grass. Excellent with sourdough and seafood — 12 years ago
1990 vintage - stored always in the same cellar in optimal conditions, decanted before drinking - a great complex mysterious multiple layer aged Pinot, very earth and tertiary connected wine, with power and finesse in the same time - a great experience 😊 — 12 years ago
A lot going on the nose. Red fruit, black fruit, meat, leather. Would be a good wintertime wine. Too bad they’re sold out at Kermit Lynch. Devin gave it 💯 — 6 years ago

Take a ride to funky town. Peppers and cream, body of a California Chardonnay with the headspace of Chablis and it's a Sauvignon Blanc! great minerality. — 11 years ago
