Natural style, wild. Kirsch Cassis fruit reminds me of Mission. Moderate acidity — 2 years ago
Really light touch, spicy and fresh with good acidity. Totally avoids the cloying sweetness and excess weight of most CA Zinfandel. — 4 years ago
Herbaceous. Great with Thanksgiving dinner. — 8 months ago
Beautiful wine. A ton of flowers, herbs, lemon, earl gray, just coats your mouth in goodness. Enjoying these cucamonga wines! — 8 months ago
When I hear "California zinfandel" I rightfully want to run away but what Raj Parr is doing to revive LA viticulture is definitely worth paying attention to. The palomino's salty acidity cuts through the zinfandel sweetness for a fresh and balanced white. — 8 months ago
Opened and brought to a Charity dinner. So many wines open, so this was hardly touched. Brought home and enjoyed over nine (yes 9) days. Made as a Rosé, this wine has some weight to it. Wonderful first effort from the Hermann York team, who are making excellent wines from SoCal old vine vineyards in Antelope Valley, Rancho Cucamonga and others. This one is from a 120 year old own-rooted vineyard on the Pechanga Reservation near Temecula, planted 60 years prior to the current commercial vineyards in the area. Mission, Grenache and probably some hybrids, as the vineyard had been abandoned for about 60 years. This had plenty of CO2 to keep it alive, with a nice Champagne pop even on day 8. A good group of guys making fun and interesting wines! — 2 years ago

Really salty and acidic in the best way, something different but great! Medium bodied with some heft on the mouthfeel, but a really zesty and briny finish — 6 months ago
